Therme 2000 is located in the nearby city of Valkenburg. Thermae 2000 was founded in 1989 on the Cauberg mountain in the tourist village Valkenburg. It started as a spa and has expanded with several facilities, of which guests were using the thermal baths more and more. In 1993 a hotel was built for leisure guests. In 2010 Thermae 2000 opened a lifestyle division that offers consulting and guidance in the field of nutrition and exercise, for body and mind. Thermae 2000 is literally a source of good life. Thermae 2000 is built on top of three water sources. The healthy water from these sources has been isolated from the meteorological cycle, which makes the water full of minerals. Thermae 2000’s water is being pumped up from 381 meters down and comes from an underground lake.
